SAB Vacancies – Logistics Support Agent
SAB is seeking a dedicated Logistics Support Agent to join our team at the Vereeniging Depot. This role is essential in capturing, analyzing, and distributing performance data within our Logistics Department. As a Logistics Support Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations through various administrative and logistical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and manage quotations for logistics as requested by Depot Management.
- Oversee the ordering and tracking of DC consumables.
- Follow up on purchase-to-pay (PTP) processes, logging snow tickets for any issues.
- Handle Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GRIR) management for all Logistics Purchase Orders (POs).
- Resolve PTP queries from logistics suppliers and close them out.
- Assist with the creation and administration of vendor accounts for Logistics Temp Labour Management.
- Administer all temporary requisition forms for the DC.
- Capture and verify time and attendance data for temp workers.
- Analyze and report on temp labor usage by function on a weekly basis.
- Manage owner-driver administration, including CPODs and governance documentation.
- Provide administrative support for the onboarding process of new drivers at the DC.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A relevant 3-year tertiary degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- 1–2 years of administrative experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
