Role Overview
We are looking for a Logistics Controller to join our dynamic team in Isando. Reporting to the Plant Lead, you will oversee the management of incoming materials and ensure effective control of site KPIs, inventory accuracy, and financial recoveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials (Packaging & Bulk) and ensure timely stock updates in SAP.
• Oversee stock movements from inbound stores to production, as well as reverse logistics.
• Coordinate cycle counts in inbound stores, investigate discrepancies, and report variances.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of >95% in inbound warehouse locations through continuous improvement.
• Conduct monthly stock counts and ensure compliance with Corporate Governance.
• Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly scorecards and performance reports for the Inbound Lead.
• Manage GOR processes for returned materials and their allocation.
• Ensure timely audit result capturing on the Europe GCS Portal.

Compliance, EHS/Quality & Food Safety

• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards inside and outside the warehouse to ensure a rating of >900.
• Ensure 100% adherence to Health, Safety, and AIB procedures and regulations.

People Management

• Implement effective communication with warehouse staff and manage staff performance.
• Identify training needs, optimize labor, and manage outsourced personnel.
• Plan shifts and ensure machinery and equipment are maintained within budget.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of logistics experience, including people management.
• Tertiary qualification in Financial Management; Cost Accounting is a prerequisite.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and creditors management experience.
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Excel) and SAP knowledge.
• 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a drive for results.
