Fidelity Vacancies – License Plate Recognition

Job Summary:
The License Plate Recognition (LPR) Junior Analyst will monitor and manage live LPR system feeds in a control room environment. This role involves ensuring accurate identification of vehicles, responding to flagged incidents, and maintaining system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor live LPR feeds to identify and respond to flagged vehicles. Verify alerts and escalate issues to security or management teams as required.
  • Incident Management: Log and report incidents involving flagged license plates, maintaining detailed and time-stamped records. Coordinate responses with security personnel and law enforcement.
  • System Operations: Ensure continuous functionality of LPR cameras and equipment. Conduct routine system checks and report technical issues to IT or maintenance teams.
  • Data Accuracy and Analysis: Cross-check LPR data for accuracy and prepare reports or summaries based on system data and logs.
  • Compliance and Security: Adhere to data protection and privacy regulations. Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of all system information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: PSIRA Grade A certification.
  • Technical Skills:
    • At least 3 years of experience with LPR systems and control room technologies.
    • Basic knowledge of computer systems, monitoring software, and data entry.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a focused environment.
    • Effective communication skills for incident reporting and team coordination.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
  • Communication: Proficiency in English with excellent articulation and grammar.
  • Experience: Prior experience in surveillance, security monitoring, or related fields is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Based in a secure control room environment with rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Requires extended periods of sitting and monitoring multiple screens.
