Legal Advisor – Adcock Ingram

Key Job Outputs

  • Legal risk management.
  • Manage litigation matters.
  • Provide expert advice on legal and technical matters in line with legal framework and best practices.
  • Participate in department-led projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements (Contract management).
  • Ensure contracts and agreements are updated as required.
  • Allocate and distribute work via the Helpdesk.
  • Assist in drafting internal policies and ensure compliance with statutory/legal requirements.
  • Monitor legal risks, legislative changes, and court decisions, advising stakeholders accordingly.
  • Analyze legislative and regulatory developments affecting Adcock Ingram.
  • Provide practical legal solutions to complex issues.
  • Support drafting publications.
  • Liaise with attorneys.
  • Assist in investigating and responding to complaints.
  • Advise on Industrial Relations and Labour-related matters.

Requirements

  • LLB and/or B.Com (Law) qualification
  • Admission as an attorney or advocate in South Africa preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
