Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Design Solutions
- Assist in developing innovative solutions for product design challenges.
- Contribute to both new designs and improvements for existing products.
- Work with senior designers to understand and implement strategic design directions.
- Help iterate on interactive designs based on user needs and business goals.
- User Research
- Participate in user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Help create user personas and journey maps based on research findings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to integrate user insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Support senior designers in presenting design solutions that align with user needs and business objectives.
- Assist in fostering collaboration between design and other departments.
- Work with developers and product owners to refine designs throughout production.
- Participate in feedback sessions and help adapt designs based on input.
- Design Execution
- Create storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
- Focus on delivering user-friendly and visually appealing designs.
- Assist in evaluating and optimizing design features through feedback and performance metrics.
- Ensure design consistency by maintaining UI specifications and documentation.
- Process Contribution
- Help validate and iterate design solutions through testing and feedback.
- Adapt product experiences for different audiences and devices, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness.
- Collaborate on web and mobile product concepts within a cross-functional team.
- Follow established UX principles, processes, and design systems.
- Team Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with the design team to align with overall product goals.
- Participate in discussions with senior designers to refine interaction architecture.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment that promotes user-centered design principles.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Design, User Experience (UX), Graphic Design, or a related field (or a strong portfolio).
- 0 to 2 years of professional experience in product design or UX/UI design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Basic understanding of prototyping tools and design methods.
- Familiarity with wireframing, user flows, and basic interaction design.
- Knowledge of responsive and accessible design practices.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
- (Nice to have) Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- (Nice to have) Exposure to agile development tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
