 Mr Price Careers – Junior Data Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to provide professional support to the Mr Price Foundation team. In this fixed-term contract role, you will be responsible for retrieving, analyzing, and simplifying complex data sets to support the Jumpstart Programme. Your insights will help define trends and assess performance.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics:
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, delivering ongoing reports to the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner.
  • Review regional clusters to assess their feasibility against the demand requirements of Employer Partners.
  • Analyze regional Jumpstart pool lists to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making recommendations to address any issues.
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to identify and correct problems. Transform data into clear, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the Jumpstart Analyst and Programme Owner.
  • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities through research and thorough data collection to ensure the program’s success.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: BCom in Developmental Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a data analytics role, with experience creating detailed reports. CSI/Socio-Economic experience is advantageous.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
