Fidelity Vacancies – Junior Branch Manager Greenside

The Junior Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, operations, technical, and administrative functions within the branch. This role ensures high operational standards, business growth, budget achievement, and a proactive approach to crime reduction.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Post-matric qualification in General Management is advantageous
  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Management is beneficial
  • At least three years of experience at a mid-management level
  • Strong financial knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss management
  • PSIRA Grade B Security Certificate (existing or to be obtained upon appointment)
  • Experience in the security industry is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Provide strong leadership to employees, ensuring alignment with company vision and strategy
  • Make informed, timely decisions to drive branch success and long-term development

Finance, Planning & Controls:

  • Develop and meet budget plans and stretch targets across all business areas
  • Submit annual business plans, operating budgets, and sales targets
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and profitability management
  • Oversee branch collections to maintain financial stability

Sales & Business Development:

  • Achieve branch sales targets and drive business growth
  • Conduct sales projections and set achievable sales targets
  • Analyze sales data to guide business decisions
  • Support sales consultants in achieving individual sales goals
  • Manage debtors control for new clients and installations
  • Handle customer complaints effectively
  • Develop dealer and IIP sales, recruiting and onboarding additional partners
  • Support dealers and IIPs to achieve budgeted contributions

Operations & Service Delivery:

  • Implement effective planning and production controls to optimize efficiency
  • Maintain high service levels, focusing on quality, productivity, and cost reduction
  • Enhance customer experience through service improvements and proactive engagement
  • Oversee branch fleet management to prevent operational disruptions
  • Ensure operational managers uphold service excellence across all areas
  • Personally attend client visits for contact crimes, ensuring client satisfaction

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce health and safety policies and compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure adherence to South African laws, corporate guidelines, and industry codes of practice

Marketing & Community Engagement:

  • Drive local marketing initiatives and enhance customer perception
  • Build strong relationships with influencers and maintain a strong social media presence
  • Foster a content-creation culture to enhance brand relevance
  • Implement and execute Over-the-Top (OTT) marketing strategies
  • Ensure effective communication and customer engagement

Customer Relations & Commercial Growth:

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the sales team to enhance client satisfaction
  • Identify and address customer needs through innovative, commercially viable solutions

People Management & Development:

  • Identify staff training and development needs, providing coaching and support
  • Oversee HR-related functions, including staff recruitment and development
  • Ensure the successful recruitment and onboarding of new employees

Attrition & Client Retention:

  • Manage attrition rates and implement strategies to retain clients
  • Drive reconnections and customer loyalty within the branch
  • Analyze attrition trends and implement solutions to mitigate losses
  • Monitor financial exposure to bad debt and ensure sustainable sales practices

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of operations, sales, technical, and administrative processes
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and drive business results
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Ability to build and manage effective teams
