Sasol careers – Invoice Administrator

Purpose of the Role

As an Invoice Administrator, you will ensure the efficient processing of supplier invoices, accurate reconciliation of accounts, and timely resolution of discrepancies. Your role will contribute to maintaining effective cost controls and supporting financial accuracy for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of costs on service provider invoices.
  • Process supplier invoices promptly and ensure accuracy in entries.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to supplier billing queries.
  • Reconcile Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GRIR) accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare monthly reports for accruals and maintain accurate service provider records.
  • Adjust and balance service provider statements to align figures.
  • Support intercompany accounting transactions and reconcile corresponding accounts.
  • Collaborate with transport controllers to align on payment schedules and required documentation.
  • Prepare data for cost reports and support audits as needed.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve work processes and enhance cost controls.
  • Adhere to Sasol’s risk and safety standards, implementing SHE practices in daily operations.
  • Build positive stakeholder relationships to enable accurate reporting and invoice processing.
  • Develop and maintain personal skills and track performance goals through a structured personal development plan.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in invoice administration or a related field.
