About the Role:
Pick n Pay is seeking an experienced and driven Inventory Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory control, ensuring accurate reporting, and implementing effective procedures to manage stock levels across our stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure all stock is accurately accounted for according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Report any discrepancies in merchandise standards to the Store Manager.
- Plan and implement procedures to enhance inventory control and identify potential shortages.
- Oversee daily inventory operations, identify and address bottlenecks, and assess inventory output to identify trends.
- Mentor and coach team members, monitor performance, and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid South African ID (copy required with application).
- Valid Driver’s License Code 08 (certified copy required with application).
- Successful completion of at least 2 competency-based interviews.
- Flexibility to be transferred between stores as needed.
- 2-3 years of experience in an inventory clerical role.
