Pick n Pay Vacancies – Inventory Manager – Western Cape

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. As the Inventory Manager, you will oversee and manage the company’s inventory, ensuring accurate reporting and timely actions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (certified copy required with application)
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in inventory management
  • Valid South African ID (copy required with application)
  • Valid Driver’s License Code 08 (certified copy required)
  • Successful completion of at least 2 competency-based interviews
  • Flexibility to be transferred between stores

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory counts and ensure all inventory is accurately accounted for and reported according to SOP.
  • Report deviations in merchandise standards to the Store Manager.
  • Plan, implement, and manage procedures to optimize inventory control.
  • Identify and address inventory shortages in a timely manner.
  • Oversee daily operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
  • Assess inventory output regularly (daily, weekly, or monthly) to identify productivity trends.
  • Mentor and coach team members, monitor performance, and address any undesired behavior.
