Job Overview
The Internal Sales Consultant plays a vital role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. This position involves making a high volume of calls daily, engaging with both new and existing customers, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions
- Prepare and provide cost estimates and quotes for clients
- Open sales order files when required
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales consultants for further development and closure
- Close sales and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
- Research accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest
- Maintain and expand a database of prospects within your scope
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants to build a strong sales pipeline and close deals
- Conduct effective online presentations regarding the product and group offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience in internal sales with a history of over-achieving targets
- Strong phone presence and ability to handle a high volume of calls daily
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with a CRM system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous
- Valid vehicle license and own vehicle
- PSIRA Grade C
