Dischem Vacancies – Integration Developer Graduate
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an enthusiastic Integration Developer Graduate to join our SAP Department at our Head Office in Midrand. This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to build a career in software integration.
Minimum Requirements:
- Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric or a Senior Certificate
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in programming languages such as C# .Net or Java, as well as scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, CSS, and HTML
- Experience with relational databases and the ability to interpret and write SQL statements
- Advantageous:
- Relevant SAP certification
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, implement, support, administer, and monitor integration solutions for on-premise, cloud, or hybrid scenarios.
- Conduct workshops, design, and build integrations, ensuring effective communication with project team members at varying technical knowledge levels.
- Identify test data for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance, collaborating with functional consultants to validate test results.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to integration solutions and middleware.
- Ensure compliance with fiscal guidelines, regulations, principles, and standards when processing financial transactions.
Competencies:
- Essential:
- Proficiency in English (read, write, and speak)
- Trustworthy, honest, and self-motivated
- Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and inspire others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C# .Net or Java
- Strong interpersonal skills and a quality orientation
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Advantageous:
- Knowledge of SAP and other enterprise-level systems
Special Conditions of Employment:
- South African citizenship
- Clear criminal and credit record (MIE)
- Valid driver’s license and/or own reliable transport
- Willingness to work overtime as needed for project deadlines and promotions
