Clover Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) is seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resources Officer to support the HR processes for the relevant branches. The Human Resources Officer will be a key point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance on HR-related matters and supporting initiatives that improve employee engagement and productivity.

Requirements

  • National Diploma
  • Travel off-site/overnight stay
  • Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level
  • Fluent in Business English
  • Intermediate computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment processes

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for Paterson A and B bands
  • Ensure effective onboarding and induction of new employees at all levels
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines
  • Assist in the execution of the Employment Equity Plan
  • Compile and communicate management reports

Assist with learning and development interventions

  • Collaborate with management to compile the WSP for the Eastern Cape region
  • Maintain and update training records
  • Compile training reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines
  • Facilitate and coordinate all learning programs

Manage the benefits administration processes

  • Submit Pension/Provident/Medical Aid and Life Assurance fund applications
  • Address all benefit-related queries
  • Submit disability, death claims, and terminations
  • Compile and communicate management reports

Assist with basic industrial relations functions

  • Provide absenteeism data to management to effectively manage absenteeism
  • Capture disciplinary records and support management as needed
