Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a Health Merchandiser for the new store at Newcastle Mall. This role involves ensuring that Dis-Chem’s merchandising standards are consistently applied and maintained while delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements:
Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Up to 6 months of retail experience
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Willingness to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• Diploma or degree in a Health Focus category
• At least one year of retail experience

Responsibilities:

• Restock merchandise according to business needs.
• Store and pack delivered stock or stock pulled from the storeroom in the correct locations.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked at all times.
• Facilitate stock rotation on a First In, First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Maintain neat and visible front shop shelves with accurate labels and pricing.
• Build, stock, and maintain merchandising displays.
• Ensure the store and displays are well maintained, taking responsibility for assigned stock in the storeroom and on the shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping when required.
• Address and resolve customer stock queries.

• Bilingual ability
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and the FMCG industry
• Familiarity with product categories and stock management
• Ability to analyze ZMORE reports for stock ordering and inventory control
• SAP and Unisolv experience
• Ability to identify and report suspicious behavior
