The Head of People at Yuppiechef will play a key role in shaping and driving the people strategy to foster a high-performance culture built on collaboration and trust. This role requires extensive experience in strategic human resources leadership, with a focus on aligning people initiatives with business objectives. The position will also work closely with Group HR specialists to implement key HR imperatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute both short- and long-term people strategies to support business goals and achieve key performance indicators.
- Partner with the Senior Leadership team to provide strategic HR guidance, contributing to overall business direction and priorities.
- Lead talent forecasting, recruitment, and onboarding processes to ensure the business attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversee reward and recognition programs to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness, enhancing employee engagement and motivation.
- Drive initiatives in organizational design, training and development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and performance management to develop a strong talent pipeline.
- Manage change processes related to people strategies, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of new initiatives.
- Stay updated on employment legislation and industry best practices to ensure compliance and proactively address workforce challenges.
- Provide strategic input on employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring fair and consistent practices across the organization.
- Contribute to management and board reports, providing insights on human capital health and progress on key HR projects.
Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
- At least 7 years of HR business partnering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior HR management role.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, disciplinary processes, labor scheduling, policy development, leadership, and labor relations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and people management skills.
