PURPOSE STATEMENT

  • Provide strategic technical direction and manage multiple teams responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle delivery, including features, support, and maintenance.
  • Drive efficiency, optimization, innovation, and team development within the IT banking segment.

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Software Services Delivery

  • Lead software development for banking systems, ensuring quality, security, and performance.
  • Manage timelines, stakeholder communication, and delivery commitments.
  • Enforce adherence to SDLC best practices and IT governance standards.
  • Collaborate with Technology Strategies to implement optimal solutions.

Risk & Compliance

  • Address audit findings and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and SDLC protocols.

Third-Party Relationship Management

  • Own vendor sourcing, negotiation, and Contract management.
  • Monitor supplier performance and optimize service delivery.

People Management

  • Build high-performing teams with aligned skills and product focus.
  • Drive recruitment, performance management, and career development.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and adaptable work culture.

Budgeting & Financial Reporting

  • Develop and manage budgets for OPEX/CAPEX.
    Fifth Xavierapprove expenditures and provide variance reporting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, IT, or Computer Science.
  • Ideal: Honors Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Minimum:

  • 5+ years in software development management.
  • Agile environment leadership, roadmap planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Expertise in people management, budgeting, and business analysis.

Ideal:

  • Banking industry knowledge.
  • SDLC, Agile methodologies, and business model alignment.

SKILLS

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Leadership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder influence.
