Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Lead: Internal Communications. This senior-level role will drive the company’s internal communication strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering employee engagement. The successful candidate will report to the Group Head: Strategic Communications and Corporate Reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to General Managers, HR, and Functional Heads, ensuring message alignment across the business.

Develop and implement an integrated internal communication plan, ensuring consistency across all regions.

Standardize communication practices across CCBA and align internal messaging with external corporate communications.

Provide coaching and expertise to internal communication teams and country leaders.

Drive employee engagement through effective communication strategies.

Introduce and manage digital communication tools to enhance employee interaction.

Develop targeted communication for the salesforce to support their roles.

Improve employee understanding of business performance and their contribution to success.

Strengthen employee ambassadorship to enhance company representation both internally and externally.

Continuously measure and refine communication strategies based on data and feedback.
Skills and Competencies

Strong content creation and communication skills, with expertise in digital communication channels.

Ability to develop innovative and engaging communication strategies.

Proficiency in audience segmentation and message customization for optimal impact.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Journalism, Media, Communication, or Marketing (postgraduate degree preferred).

10 to 12 years of experience in corporate communication, focusing on employee engagement, internal publications, intranet management, and media relations.

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.

Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and leading communication teams.

Strong understanding of global best practices in internal communication.
