Sasol careers – Graduate Trainee II:Learning Assurance and Vendor Management

The Graduate Trainee II: Learning Assurance and Vendor Management will play a key role in monitoring B-BBEE compliance, particularly focusing on skills development and managing quarterly audits. This position involves overseeing skills development spend audits, managing contracts, and ensuring effective vendor performance. The role also includes regular engagements with internal stakeholders and non-technical learnerships management, ensuring learner registration, compliance with SETAs, and monitoring employee performance. Additionally, the trainee will assist in managing learnership programmes and providing performance reports for service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct B-BBEE monitoring, including skills development and quarterly audits.
  • Oversee skills development spend audits and vendor management.
  • Manage contracts and administrative tasks to ensure compliance and effective vendor performance.
  • Monitor service provider performance through regular monthly engagements.
  • Facilitate non-technical learnerships, ensuring all learners are registered and compliant with SETAs.
  • Provide performance feedback to employees and ensure they meet their goals while fostering a positive work culture.
  • Hold monthly meetings with learnership service providers to track their performance and generate performance reports.
  • Assist in the management and smooth execution of learning programmes.

Minimum Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in B-BBEE skills management, vendor management, contract management, and supply chain management.

Formal Education

  • Honours degree in Economics or a related field.
