Job Description
Food Lovers Market is seeking a reliable General Worker to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including picking, packing, scanning orders, and ensuring the highest quality of products are prepared for our stores. You will report directly to the Outbound Supervisor, Outbound Manager, and Outbound Checker, and will be required to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick, including picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling according to schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to quality service standards and follow all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Handle heavy lifting and move products as needed.
- Use a scanner to track and record inventory movements accurately.
- Build and maintain product knowledge to ensure accurate picking and packing.
- Work efficiently, particularly during peak periods.
