Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Lead and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and scheduling.
  • Maintain excellent store presentation and product quality standards.
  • Control inventory, manage supply orders, and optimize stock levels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Implement marketing and promotional campaigns to boost store visibility.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are consistently followed.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of retail management experience.
  • Knowledge of Spar systems will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work shifts.
  • Must reside in the Helderberg area and have reliable transport.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong managerial capabilities including planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Punctual, loyal, and committed to excellence.
