This role will primarily focus on assisting with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and scanning orders to ensure efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:
As a General Assistant, your main duties will include:
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup on schedule (loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping)
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (picking, unloading, labeling, and storing)
- Ensuring inventory control is maintained and quality standards are adhered to during audits
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization
- Completing diary logs for inventory tracking
- Reporting any discrepancies in inventory or orders
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and co-workers to ensure smooth operations
- Operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment with preventive care
- Following service standards and complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Matric certificate
- Previous experience as a General Assistant or General Worker
- Ability to communicate in English
- Must live within 25 km of the job location
- Clear criminal record
