Job Description:
Join the BUCO Cape Town CBD team as a General Assistant where your role will be to provide essential support in various areas of the store and yard. You’ll assist customers and drivers, ensure stock is organized and accessible, and help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and assist customers and drivers with loading and offloading of vehicles.
- Ensure yard stock is neatly packed and easily accessible for efficient operations.
- Keep vehicles clean and ensure they are safely loaded.
- Provide prompt and professional assistance to customers and suppliers with workshop or joinery needs.
- Complete Wash Bay activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain store shelves, boards, and stock items in an organized and accessible manner for customers.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Product knowledge related to building materials and tools is advantageous.
