Job Description:

Buco is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Assistant to join our Athlone team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Preparation: Accurately prepare orders for customers and drivers.
2. Loading and Offloading: Assist with the loading and offloading of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and safety.
3. Customer and Supplier Assistance: Provide prompt and effective support to customers and suppliers during vehicle loading and offloading.
4. Stock Management: Ensure that yard stock items are neatly packed, accessible, and properly organized.
5. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that vehicles are kept clean and loaded safely.
6. Workshop/Joinery Support: Assist customers and suppliers with workshop/joinery needs.
7. Wash Bay Activities: Complete wash bay tasks accurately and efficiently.
8. Store Maintenance: Keep store shelves, boards, and other stock items neatly packed and accessible for customers.
9. Company Values: Uphold and promote Buco’s values and culture in all tasks and interactions.

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12
• Skills:
  • Basic product knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
