Job Description:
As a General Assistant at Tekkie Town, you will play a key role in providing superior customer service, assisting in achieving optimal turnover results, and supporting the management team with the daily store operations. This role is customer-focused and service-oriented, with an emphasis on ensuring a positive shopping experience through effective merchandise presentation and store upkeep.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organizational skills to plan daily tasks
  • Computer literacy
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress
  • Integrity and initiative in all responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Protect store assets, including stock, cash, and physical assets
  • Implement company policies and procedures efficiently
  • Maintain effective store layouts and department organization
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Follow correct procedures for stockroom management, markdowns, and lay-bys
  • Ensure timely merchandise replenishment and maintain housekeeping standards
