Dischem Vacancies – Frontline Supervisor

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dynamic Frontline Supervisor to join our team at the Paarl – Optenhorst store. The Frontline Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations at the checkout points.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Minimum of 2 years cashier-related work experience, including 6 months shadowing a Cashier Supervisor
    • Sound numerical skills
    • Computer literate – MS Office
    • Willing and able to work retail hours
  • Advantageous:
    • Certificate in Computer Literacy
    • 3 years’ work experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience
    • Working knowledge of SAP

Job Description:

  • Manage and report all customer compliments and complaints to management.
  • Ensure smooth flow of queues in the store.
  • Supervise cashiers and monitor customer interactions.
  • Manage cash discrepancies and authorize line voids, tender ups, and price overrides.
  • Process refunds, returns, and all types of payments accurately.
  • Ensure accurate document control and handling of floats as per standard operating procedures.
  • Train and assist new cashiers.
