Pick n Pay is looking for a skilled Frontline Service Manager to lead our frontline team in delivering exceptional customer service. This role is key to ensuring seamless operations, maintaining high standards of security, and fostering a positive customer experience. Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Prior experience in frontline or department management (experience managing a department preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service, responding promptly to cashier queries and addressing customer needs.
  • Transaction Authorization: Approve transactions in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Queue Management: Monitor and manage queues to ensure efficient service flow.
  • Frontline Standards: Uphold hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards at the frontline.
  • Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security procedures to protect assets and minimize shrinkage.
  • Resource Management: Oversee human resource functions including communication, training, and performance management.
  • Cash Office Operations: Ensure the efficient operation of the cash office and accurate daily administration.
  • Community Engagement: Initiate and coordinate social responsibility activities within the store.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain all required documentation and daily reports.
