Overview:
Sea Harvest is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Fish Shop Manager to join our team. This role involves assisting in the management of our fish shop’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing all aspects of the fish shop, including inventory control, supply ordering, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and providing product recommendations.
• Support the training and supervision of staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and deliver excellent service.
• Collaborate with the senior manager to analyze sales trends and develop strategies to boost revenue and profitability.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of fresh, high-quality seafood.
• Assist in creating and executing marketing initiatives to attract new customers and foster brand loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12); a tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a seafood or food retail environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of seafood products and preparation techniques is a plus.
