Job Overview:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Delmas, Mpumalanga, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Clerk. The role involves managing the reconciliation and payment processes for Dis-Chem’s supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile vendor accounts using BEST software to prepare for timely payments.
• Ensure all reconciliations are completed and approved according to internal deadlines.
• Adhere to and verify correct payment terms during the reconciliation process.
• Resolve any outstanding invoices and claims on reconciliations promptly.
• Follow up on account queries and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with suppliers and internal departments.
• Process workflow query invoices, sending them to relevant stores and following up on responses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Essential:
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounts.
• Advantageous:
  • Relevant Finance Qualification.
  • Experience with SAP, BEST, and Readsoft.
  • Experience in an accounts department.

Competencies:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Trustworthy, honest, and a strong team player.
• Deadline-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain good relationships.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Clear criminal and credit records (MIE).
