G4S Vacancies – Field Technician-G4S Deposita-Rustenburg – South Africa Rustenburg Market Related

G4S Deposita is seeking a Field Technician – G4S Deposita – Rustenburg – South Africa Rustenburg Market Related to join the Operations Department. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) and docking stations to ensure operational efficiency. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and must demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and deinstall ABMs while ensuring proper functionality.

  • Provide customer training on newly installed ABMs.

  • Maintain and install docking stations, including necessary modifications.

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on ABMs to ensure peak performance.

  • Respond promptly to customer service needs and technical issues.

  • Adhere to service-level agreements and maintain high standards of workmanship.

  • Document maintenance activities accurately for reference and compliance.

  • Collect faulty canisters from the cash center for repair.

  • Complete scheduled maintenance according to operational requirements.

  • Follow company procedures for safety, maintenance, and service protocols.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Electrical and technical skills related to ABM maintenance.

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to train clients on equipment usage.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
