This role is based in Pretoria/Johannesburg and reports directly to the Field Audit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct audits of stores to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Attend stocktakes to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Perform investigations related to auditing and compliance issues.
Qualifications and Experience
• Relevant qualification in Internal Auditing or a similar field.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Internal Auditing.
• Retail experience, specifically in Area Management or Store Management, is advantageous.
• Understanding of basic audit methodologies.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent planning, administrative, and organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree or Diploma in Commerce/Internal Auditing preferred.
• Report writing skills are essential.
• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required, with the ability to travel away from home for approximately one week per month.
