Description
Join BDO, a leading audit and advisory firm, as an Experienced Auditor and take ownership of risk-based audits while developing your leadership skills. You will report directly to an Audit Senior, Manager, or Partner, overseeing audits from planning to completion. This role involves guiding junior team members, executing audit procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Purpose of the Role
The Experienced Auditor will conduct risk-based audits in line with BDO’s audit methodology, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process improvement recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess business risks related to financial operations
- Plan, schedule, and execute risk-based audits efficiently
- Present audit findings and propose solutions for policy and procedural enhancements
- Align audit strategies with the business’s financial goals
- Engage with client Finance Officers to ensure seamless audit processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and government legislation
- Lead, mentor, and train junior audit team members
- Support additional audit-related projects as needed
Requirements
- Completed CTA or B. Comm Financial degree (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in auditing with strong analytical and leadership skills
