Clover Vacancies – Engineer:Control Systems Development

and enforce standardization across manufacturing facilities. This role is based at Clover Head Office and requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in control systems engineering.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • High-level computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, Autodesk AutoCAD or equivalent, Siemens Simatic Step 7 and TIA Portal
  • Experience with Statement Lists (STL), Ladder Diagrams (LAD), and Function Block Diagrams (FBD)
  • Fluent in Business English
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
  • Extensive experience in a commercial-scale manufacturing environment, particularly in food production
  • Proven ability to lead and implement business projects, including managing change and transitions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a track record of exceeding goals
  • Commitment to developing talent in control systems engineering

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with standardized control systems across all production sites
  • Develop and maintain databases for manufacturing process programs, functional blocks, HMI backups, and electrical diagrams
  • Provide technical support to production teams for implementing system standards
  • Assist with electrical and control system engineering in automation and production processes
  • Support project execution teams to integrate Clover’s design principles in all projects
  • Contribute to high-level Business Investigation Reports (BIR) and Final Business Cases (FBC) for new projects
  • Deliver detailed engineering input, including concept designs, cost modeling, and required documentation
  • Support project execution by configuring and testing HMI hardware/software, commissioning systems, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
  • Provide backup and troubleshooting support for production, distribution, and facility operations
