Cashbuild Vacancies – End Controller (External Applications Only)
The End Controller is responsible for verifying and recording all transactions when stock or fixed assets leave the store or when customers return stock. This role ensures accuracy in documentation and compliance with store procedures.
Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 with one year of relevant work experience or two years of related work experience

Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area
-
Strong literacy and numerical skills

High attention to detail
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Security Responsibilities:
-
Ensure that no goods leave the store without proper documentation
-
Verify that all documentation is completed correctly, including date, time, sequence, and signatures
-
Accurately record all customer returns in the End Controller book with proper authorization
-
Ensure backup coverage for the End Control area during shift changes, lunch, and breaks
-
Sign the End Control keys in and out daily
-
Keep all entry and exit doors closed when not in use
-
Ensure that loading and off-loading shutter doors remain closed when not in use
-
Report any suspicious behavior or vehicles that may pose a security risk to management
-
Conduct random searches on employees when they leave the store
Customer Service Responsibilities:

Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to all customers during the check-in and check-out of goods

Direct customers to the appropriate staff member for assistance
Operational Responsibilities:

Adhere to store readiness procedures as per company guidelines
-
Ensure work is completed accurately and within company standards
-
Follow through on commitments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

Identify and address problems by determining root causes

Resolve issues effectively and escalate them when necessary

Make decisions within company policies and set timelines
