Job Overview:
BUCO is seeking reliable Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed and organized.
- Prevent damages and breakages during transit.
- Supervise and assist with loading and unloading of materials.
- Perform daily inspection checks on the vehicle and report any defects.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
- Ensure the correct quantities and supplies are delivered to customers.
- Reduce delivery costs by optimizing routes and combining trips.
- Ensure delivery notes are authorized and properly filed.
- Collect COD monies and ensure accurate handling.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) license for vehicles between 3501 kg and 9000 kg.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving experience.
