Job Description
The Divisional Real Estate Manager will play a crucial role in expanding the footprint of the Clicks brand through new property deals and the acquisition of pharmacies. This position focuses on fostering relationships with landlords and property developers, identifying potential opportunities, and negotiating beneficial transactions to ensure the continuous growth and profitability of the business.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and property developers, ensuring Clicks is the first preferred tenant for new developments, redevelopments, and tenant replacements in existing properties. The Divisional Real Estate Manager will negotiate the best rental rates, escalations, and lease terms, taking current market conditions into account.
This role will also involve ensuring timely renewals of leases with favorable terms, contributing to the business’s profitability, and mitigating risk. Planning ahead and identifying key areas for property growth in line with the operational and pharmacy growth plans will also be essential. The Divisional Real Estate Manager will be responsible for strategically identifying and analyzing acquisition opportunities, negotiating property transactions, and packaging the best lease deals for Clicks.
