Position Summary:
Sea Harvest is looking for an experienced and dedicated Discharge Supervisor to manage and oversee discharge operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers involved in off-loading fish products.
• Ensure operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment and cargo handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train new employees on discharge procedures and safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of cargo, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during discharge operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and management.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within discharge operations.
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling and discharge procedures.
• Familiarity with vessel stability and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the marine industry.
• Must be medically fit, have sober habits, and a clean criminal record.
