Deputy Store Manager – Hillfox

Job Purpose
The Deputy Store Manager ensures the store meets sales and profitability goals by training associates, supporting staff development, and overseeing daily operations in compliance with adidas Retail policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in optimizing staff productivity and minimizing payroll costs.
  • Assist in evaluating employee performance and maintaining personnel documentation.
  • Utilize training tools and customer service strategies to develop staff in line with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company operations and sensitive information.
  • Uphold visual merchandising and security procedures, including shrinkage control.
  • Assist in merchandising, promotions, and inventory management to meet sales targets.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally.
  • Implement management systems for organizing, auditing, and streamlining store operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience.

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to interpret policies, analyze data, and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
