About the Program

Job Description

• Conduct ground training for Dangerous Goods (DG), Aviation Security (AVSEC), and Weight & Balance (W&B).
• Prepare training rooms and ensure all materials are ready and available.
• Facilitate classroom and virtual training sessions in line with training manuals and updated materials.
• Monitor trainee progress, provide support, and deliver individual feedback to aid development.
• Complete and distribute training records and documents in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Develop and maintain high-quality training materials aligned with company policies, industry regulations, governing bodies, and best-practice methodologies.
• Assist senior instructors in resolving learning challenges, instructional issues, and addressing emerging educational needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve training delivery and trainee experience.
• Assess training needs in line with organisational requirements.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations, notices, directives, SOPs, and policies.
• Conduct on-the-job training for employees as required.
• Support senior instructors with audit preparations.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
• Completion of Train the Trainer, Assessor, Moderator, and Coaching & Mentoring certifications (Essential).
• Current SACAA instructor certification in relevant fields (SMS, AVSEC, Cabin Crew, DG, W&B) (Advantageous).
• Diploma or degree in education, training, or a related field (Desirable).
• Minimum of 2 years’ flying experience with demonstrated proficiency in DG, AVSEC, SMS, or W&B (Essential).
• Willingness to travel.
