Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Manager at Pick n Pay, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while upholding company values. You will manage customer interactions, ensure high standards in store operations, and drive initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- 12-18 months of face-to-face customer service experience
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office)

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints.
- Manage informal and formal feedback processes.
- Utilize the Customer Complaints Chart to track and resolve issues.
- Store Standards:
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and store standards.
- Conduct store audits to maintain high operational standards.
- Communication:
- Manage both informal and formal feedback channels to improve customer service.
- Coordinate with local newspapers for social responsibility initiatives.
- Training:
- Oversee training programs for staff to enhance customer service skills.
- Implement the Customer Complaints Chart for staff development.
- Administration:
- Handle administrative tasks related to customer service and store operations.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and develop project plans.
- Social Responsibility:
- Engage in community activities and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Personal Development:
- Lead self-development initiatives through Individual Performance Agreements (IPA) and Personal Development Plans (PDP).
