Overview: We are looking for a proactive Customer Service Manager to provide exceptional service and uphold Pick n Pay’s values. This role involves managing customer interactions, ensuring adherence to company standards, and fostering a positive community presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12
• 12-18 months of face-to-face customer service experience
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and handle both informal and formal feedback
• Maintain and update the Customer Complaint Chart
• Conduct store audits to ensure compliance with service standards

Store Standards:

• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain high store standards and practices

Communication:

• Facilitate clear and effective communication with customers and staff
• Manage and address feedback

Training:

• Oversee staff training and development
• Maintain the Customer Complaints Chart and support training initiatives

Social Responsibility:

• Engage with the community and manage feedback
• Coordinate with local newspapers for community-related activities

Administration:

• Manage administrative tasks and handle ad-hoc projects
• Develop and execute project plans

Leading Self:

• Monitor personal performance and development
• Adhere to the Individual Performance Agreement (IPA) and Personal Development Plan (PDP)
