About the Role:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dedicated Customer Consultant for their De Drift (New Store) in Velddrif. The role involves engaging with customers, providing product and service information, and addressing inquiries. You will handle customer complaints and concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric (minimum 60% in English, Afrikaans, and Maths Literacy)
- At least 1 year of experience in administration or public relations
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Willingness to work retail hours
Advantageous:
- Qualification in Administration, Customer Service, or Public Relations
- Knowledge of a third additional language
- SAP experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate data capturing and completion of documentation
- Check card balances, reports, and statements for customers
- Manage inventory control for cards, magazines, baby bags, travel kits, promotional items, and partner gifts
- Accurately process transactions (TRMS) and manage stock control
- Verify manual points allocation on card reports and statements
- Facilitate effective internal communication within Customer Service and benefits programmes
- Escalate compliments, complaints, and product sourcing to Senior or Regional Customer Consultants
- Maintain a customer service diary for complaints and compliments
- Respond to written or email queries across platforms
- Keep Store Manager and relevant staff informed on the benefits programme
- Maintain excellent telephone etiquette as per SOPs
- Recruit and capture customers accurately
- Coordinate and manage in-store events and promotions
- Serve as the central point of contact for queries, compliments, and complaints
- Assist customers and refer them to appropriate departments as needed
- Ensure visibility of Benefits Programme and promotional signage at help desks and tills
- Be present on the store floor and provide support when relieved by a colleague
- Train staff on benefits programme implementation
- Adhere to all Dis-Chem policies, SOPs, and health and safety regulations
