Fidelity Vacancies – Creditors Clerk-Umsuka Wemali Finance

Fidelity Services Group has a permanent vacancy for a Creditors Clerk at the Cape Town branch. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that accounts payable are processed accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Own transport required
  • At least two years of experience in creditors’ systems and reconciliations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on vendor, statement, and invoice discrepancies daily
  • Sort and file invoices and reconciliations
  • Manage supplier documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and process monthly accrual journals
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash outflows
  • Handle petty cash and cash book invoices/payments
  • Generate and maintain reports
  • Perform supplier reconciliations in preparation for payments
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure accurate data capture on SAP and Key Fleet
  • Verify and process payment requisitions in compliance with company policies
  • Load payments on the online banking system
  • Confirm supplier banking details before processing payments
  • Respond to queries related to payments and liaise with creditors and staff
  • Conduct monthly supplier reconciliations to support approved payments
  • Load new creditors onto the SAP system
  • Provide a monthly creditors’ age analysis report
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
