Overview:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debt, reconciling accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your expertise in numeric skills, attention to detail, and customer service will contribute to achieving debtors’ targets and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Contract Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect all outstanding debt before or on due dates.
• Allocate and reconcile payments accurately.
• Resolve claims and queries on customer accounts promptly.
• Meet monthly debtors’ targets.
• Provide exceptional service to both external and internal customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing duties.
• Proactively contribute to team innovation and efficiency.
• Conduct customer visits when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Requirements:
  • Senior Certificate/Matric (essential).
  • A credit control qualification is advantageous.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with chain stores and independents in the FMCG industry (essential).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong expertise in Excel.
