Job Description:
Dis-Chem is seeking a Cosmetic Cashier to join their team in Artem. The primary purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service at the cosmetics counter, ensure smooth transaction processes, and maintain a pleasant shopping environment. This role also involves supporting employee relations within the cosmetics department.

Minimum Requirements:
Essential:

• Grade 12 – Matric
• Proven experience as a cashier or in customer service
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Advantageous:

• Experience in the cosmetics industry
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
• Understanding of customer relationship management

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at the cosmetics counter
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations
• Handle customer complaints and issues professionally
• Support the cosmetics department in achieving sales targets
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and report any shortages
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
• Promote current sales, promotions, and new products
• Assist with inventory management and stock counting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
