Fidelity Vacancies – Control Room Operator

Job Overview:
Fidelity Services Group is looking for a skilled Control Room Operator to join our team in Robertville. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and ensure effective surveillance operations, report incidents, and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • PSIRA Grade B or A (renewed)
  • Reside in the Johannesburg area
  • Fully computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word, WhatsApp)
  • Ability to quickly learn and use other software programs
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Control Room Operator
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Security experience: Observe, act, and report
  • Excellent observation and reporting skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Contactable references
  • No criminal record (will be verified)
  • Reliable and responsible with sober habits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage surveillance systems
  • Establish and maintain effective risk management processes
  • Investigate and prioritize crime threats by maintaining a robust information network
  • Identify and mitigate crime-enabling factors within the allocated environment
  • Observe, report, and act on potential security risks
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of activities and incidents
