Fidelity Vacancies – Control room operator – KwaZulu-Natal

Job Overview:
Fidelity is seeking Control Room Operators to oversee and manage operations in a fast-paced control room environment. The role involves vehicle tracking, route planning, client communication, and ensuring the security of assets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12/Matric qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a controller.
  • Computer literate.
  • No criminal record.
  • PSIRA registered with a Grade C certification.
  • Fully bilingual.
  • Experience in vehicle and radio monitoring is highly advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular communication with vehicles and drivers.
  • Monitor vehicles using tracking systems.
  • Write detailed and accurate reports.
  • Ensure the security of assets and manage security staff effectively.
  • Plan and coordinate vehicle routes and schedules.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve queries promptly and professionally.
