Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric

Responsibilities:

• Register patients following standard procedures
• Assist patients in completing medical forms, including medical insurance documents
• Maintain clinic equipment, stationery, and medication stock levels
• Inform patients about clinic procedures and manage patient records
• Open new patient files and verify the accuracy of patient information
• Process medical aid payments and authorizations
• Manage patient flow according to scheduled appointments
• Obtain medical reports when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area while ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Provide accurate information to callers regarding inquiries and concerns
• Record caller details for follow-ups and ensure messages are accurately communicated
• Transfer calls to the appropriate staff members efficiently
• Assist walk-in guests with inquiries, meetings, and deliveries
• Offer customers relevant information, including area codes and work contact details when needed
• Follow up with patients regarding any pending feedback or inquiries
• Support patients in distress by responding to emergencies
