Responsibilities:

• Register patients according to standard procedures
• Assist patients with medical forms, including medical insurance documentation
• Maintain clinic equipment, stationery, and medication stock levels
• Inform patients about clinic procedures and manage patient records
• Open and update patient files, ensuring accuracy of information
• Process medical aid payments and authorizations
• Manage patient flow according to scheduled appointments
• Obtain medical reports when required
• Keep the reception area clean and organized, ensuring patient confidentiality
• Answer incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information
• Take down caller details and ensure messages are correctly recorded and relayed
• Transfer calls efficiently to the appropriate staff members
• Assist walk-in visitors with inquiries, meetings, and deliveries
• Provide customers with relevant contact details and area information when needed
• Ensure patients and callers receive timely responses to queries
• Respond to emergencies and assist patients in distress
• Guide and support patients with medical aid authorization procedures
• Follow up with patients regarding pending feedback or inquiries
