Job Overview
The Clerk Sales Administration: Fixed Rebate Spend (Temporary) position is responsible for capturing all Fixed Spend WBS agreements, accruals, and payments in SAP. The role ensures accurate provisions and settlements of fixed spend claims in line with approved budgets while maintaining secure electronic records in compliance with Competition Commission laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture all Fixed Spend agreements in SAP based on approved budgets to ensure accurate provisions.
- Maintain a current Cash Co-Op WBS budget to ensure timely and precise budget loading.
- Process co-ad claims and retro discount provisions according to service level agreements.
- Follow up with Customer Managers to improve efficiency and prevent aging provisions.
- Provide training to Customer Managers and Accounts Receivable on accurate claim logging and processing via CRM.
- Maintain the weekly Retro Summary Recon report for distribution to business units.
- Ensure active year-to-date Cash Co-Op budget availability as per Key Account Managers’ and Regional Sales Managers’ needs.
- Perform budget adjustments as instructed by business units and Customer Managers.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures, service level agreements, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal, external, and SARS audit requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric certificate required; a tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in an FMCG environment with commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong systems and process orientation with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, SAP, SAP BI, and SAP CRM.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
