Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Food Lovers Market. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and order of our stores, ensuring a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards will directly contribute to creating a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all basic cleaning duties in and around the store, including floors, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and spot clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including refilling dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning mirrors, and sanitizing fixtures.
- Ensure trash is emptied and liners are replaced regularly.
- Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
- Assist other departments as needed to provide optimal service.
- Ensure proper handling of cleaning materials and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as required to support store operations.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Proficiency in English.
- Clear criminal record.
- Reside within 15km of the store location.
Preferences:
- Experience as a Cleaner is a plus, but not mandatory.
- EE/AA candidates are encouraged to apply.
